Epic Technology — Web, SEO & AEO

Web Build · Local SEO · AEO Visit live site — myEpicTechnology.com

Built to be found in AI search, not just Google. Epic Technology is an Orlando low-voltage and IT contractor — I designed and built their site from scratch, then optimized it for both traditional local SEO and answer-engine optimization (AEO), so the business gets surfaced whether a customer searches Google or asks ChatGPT for a recommendation.

The Challenge

  • A licensed contractor with little online presence — hard to find and easy to overlook
  • Competing in a local market where being found first wins the job
  • Customers increasingly ask AI assistants for recommendations, not just Google

What I Did

  • Designed and built the entire website — fast, clean, and mobile-first
  • Built a complete local-SEO foundation: geo-targeted content, page structure, sitemap, and social cards
  • Added rich business data so search engines understand exactly who they are, where, and what they do
  • Made the site AI-search ready, so answer engines can cite the business accurately

The Impact

  • A real online presence — a professional site that turns searches into consultations
  • Found on Google and in AI answers — positioned for both today’s search and where customers are heading
  • The business’s name, license, location, and services represented consistently everywhere they appear

Local SEO Foundation

Built the site to rank for the searches that bring in jobs — geo-targeted titles and content, clean heading structure, a sitemap and robots file, social preview cards, and local-business structured data (name, license, location, services, and map coordinates) so Google can place the business accurately in local results.

AEO — Built for AI Search

More customers now ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google’s AI overviews for recommendations. I structured the site the way these answer engines read — including a dedicated llms.txt that lays out the business’s facts, services, credentials, and trust signals in plain language — so when someone asks an AI for a low-voltage contractor in Orlando, the business can be surfaced and cited accurately, not skipped.
